The third family in the running for the $500 end of season

Accommodations - The Pines were awesome. Lots of room for all 9 of us. We only had two minor problems. When we got there, the hot tub only had 2 or 3 inches of water in it and it took a couple of days to get it taken care of. Then there was some confusion at the Tyra office. We were told when we checked in that we would be able to use their private shuttle, but a few days into it, one of the drivers gave us a hard time about it because they don't service the Pines. I spoke with the office and got it cleared up. Other than that they were great. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations unless they were closer to our ski school.
Skiing - We really enjoyed the skiing. My 9 year old, Caleb, picked it up right away and was zipping around in no time. My 12 year old, Drew, liked it, but was a little tentative, as was my wife. I had a blast and picked it up pretty quick. I thought the lessons were a big help, but had a lot more fun on the days we were on our own. Since we had a big group including kids, we didn't get to venture around the different ski runs. We stayed on Peak 9. We mainly stayed on Red Rover and Silverthorne and the A Lift Line. The last day, my brother-in-law and I broke away and went to the top and came down Bonanza. I can do the easier blues, but didn't get a chance to try many of them. Lunch was a little hectic. There just isn't enough room in the Maggie. We ended up sitting on the floor a couple of times to eat lunch. We ate a couple of times at Ten Mile station. That was neat.
Restaurants - We didn't get out much. To be honest, we were dead tired by the end of the ski day. We ate at Eric's and Bubba Gump's. They were both packed, but the food was great.
Service - You were great help. It's nice to have someone to talk to that's familiar with the area and can custom fit to your needs.
Other - Other than the fact that it's an expensive hobby, we've got no complaints. Most of us can't wait to make another trip, maybe to another location. Breckenridge is great, but one of the reasons we chose it was because of the town and shops, but by the time you get done skiing, you don't feel like going to town and the shops.
