The name says it all: Winter Park. Here there are activities geared for kids and grownups. Competitive families can find their competitive edge at the NASTAR race course, a dual race course where skiers and riders can race side-by-side against each other and the clock. A cool and fun way to go down the mountain is on a ski bike. As for summer, nothing beats the famous AlpineSlide, a 3,000 ft. high track that winds its way down the mountain and is guaranteed to make your heart race, while another fun time children's activity can be found at the Leaps and Bounds trampolines, where kids can flip, jump and act silly to their heart's content. There's also a human maze, climbing wall and the popular GyroXtreme, for those wondering what it feels like to float in space. The whole family will enjoy a ride on the scenic chairlift.

Beauty and adventure converge in Crested Butte, a combination the whole family will enjoy. A day spent at Adventure Park will undoubtedly leave the children exhausted by day's end. There's a climbing wall, ice-skating, a lift-served tubing hill and gravity-defying bungee trampolines which take you as high as 30 ft in the air, while time spent at the Trailhead Children's Discovery Museum will prove to be educational and fun, with a dig pit, dark room, play set, magnet table, art and weekly programs. Budding skiers and snowboarders won't have to fret; they'll be on the slopes soon enough after time spent at Camp CB, where the kids rule and the lessons are a blast.

In fact, for kids, learning and fun go hand in hand . There's the Hike-ology program, designed to introduce children to their environment, with three trails to explore. At the Beaver Creek Kids Day Camp a visit to the Matawin Teepee Village, horseback riding and arts and crafts are just a few of the activities children will enjoy, while a performance at the Vilar Performing Arts Center, whether a Broadway-style musical will have the whole family entertained.
